Bangor Academy Archers return with medals and PBs from the NI Archery Schools’ Cup.

We’ve had news from Peninsula Archery’s proud coach following Bangor Academy pupils’ success at the NI Schools’ Cup. Rachel got gold in the Compound bow class, while fellow Year 12 pupil, Mia took the silver medal in the Barebow class.

Yr 10 pupil Aliya finished a credible 5th place in the Recurve class, probably the toughest class of the competition. All three competitors came away with a new personal best for the Portsmouth round.

This was the first time that Bangor Academy has entered a full team and, while there were no medals this year, the girls finished in a brilliant 4th place.
