We are delighted to congratulate Year 11 pupil, Sophie on several national selections and continued success on the track, by bike, and in water. Not just in triathlons but also now in each individual discipline.
Among many triathlon wins, Sophie came first overall in the Scottish National Series race and second in the Irish version. Not to be outdone, her sister Molly (Year 9) also made the podium with two 3rd placings.
In running, Sophie is 3rd in Ulster and 10th in Ireland over 1500m. In the pool, Sophie was selected for the Irish Nationals in Limerick. She also got on her bike to compete in the Irish Nationals in road cycling racing for the first time. Her outstanding debut earned her 4th place in the time trial and another 4th in the criterium.
We keep saying it, she is one to watch.
