Our Geographers enjoyed Professor Brendan Murtagh’s lecture, “Belfast: Insights on the processes that shape the geographies of its Ethnic Diversity”.
For Year 14, this was their first proper lecture hall experience. Professor Murtagh explored how economic activity, political boundaries and social movement interact and affect the human geography of Belfast streets. What they learned is not only fascinating but a useful local case study for their A2 exam this summer.
